3. When Did CSR Begin?

Back in 1953, the term 'Corporate Social Responsibility' officially emerged in America. Fast forward to the Companies Act 2013 in India, where CSR activities became mandatory for companies with a substantial net worth. A minimum of 2% of average net profits from the preceding three financial years was mandated for CSR activities.

The center, located in Cheema Sahib, offers concessions to below poverty line individuals and relapse patients, ensuring the best possible care for lasting recovery. The center has gained recognition locally and internationally for its effective addiction treatment.
